
Marriott reaches 10,000-property milestone with JW Marriott Ranthambore
Marriott International has marked a historic milestone with the opening of the JW Marriott Ranthambore Resort & Spa, its 10,000th property globally. The luxury resort near Ranthambore National Park features 127 rooms, suites, and villas, offering immersive wildlife and wellness experiences. The achievement comes as Marriott approaches its 100th anniversary and reflects the company’s continued global expansion. The opening also strengthens Marriott’s luxury portfolio.
NIA conducts final ORAT turnaround trial with IndiGo
Noida International Airport has successfully completed a full-scale aircraft turnaround trial with IndiGo as part of its Operational Readiness, Activation and Transition (ORAT) programme. The exercise tested critical airside operations, including boarding bridges, baggage systems, cargo handling, catering, ground support equipment, and navigation procedures. The trial is among the final preparedness exercises before commercial operations commence on June 15.
Etihad Airways and Condor expand partnership
Etihad Airways and Condor have strengthened their strategic partnership with a new frequent flyer agreement and the launch of Condor’s Bangkok–Abu Dhabi service. The route joins upcoming Frankfurt and Berlin flights, enhancing connectivity between Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Under the new agreement, Etihad Guest members can redeem miles across Condor’s network. The expanded collaboration aims to improve travel options, boost connectivity through Abu.
Kissimmee & Central Florida unveil FIFA World Cup 2026 experiences
Kissimmee and Central Florida are gearing up for the FIFA World Cup 2026 with a wide range of fan experiences, watch parties, themed dining, hotel activations and entertainment across the region. Visitors can enjoy live match screenings, soccer challenges, giveaways, cultural events and special promotions at venues including Promenade at Sunset Walk, Pointe Orlando, Universal Orlando Resort and Margaritaville Resort Orlando. Hotels, restaurants and attractions will host World Cup-themed activities from June 11 to July 19.
