With the addition of Navi Mumbai, FLY91 has introduced its 14th destination overall and its fifth in Maharashtra, alongside Sindhudurg, Jalgaon, Solapur, and Pune. The launch establishes a new air link between the Mumbai metropolitan region and Goa, with the airline operating double-daily flights on the route. Furthermore, passengers flying from Navi Mumbai can seamlessly connect onwards to Agatti in Lakshadweep via Goa, creating a convenient travel option to the island destination.
Simultaneously, FLY91 has strengthened its presence in southern India by commencing scheduled operations between Bengaluru and Tirupati. This marks the carrier’s fourth connection to the pilgrimage and education hub, adding to its existing services from Hyderabad, Vijayawada, and Rajahmundry. The new route enhances air access for residents of Karnataka while solidifying regional travel options across Karnataka, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh.
Both inaugural flights were celebrated at their respective airports with traditional ceremonial boarding pass handovers to the first passengers and cake-cutting ceremonies.
Commenting on the dual operational rollouts, Manoj Chacko, Founder, Managing Director, and CEO, FLY91, said, “We are happy to bring FLY91 to Navi Mumbai and make it easier for people in the region to fly to Goa. With two flights a day and onward connectivity to Agatti, passengers will have more options to plan their travel. We will gradually add connections to other destinations as part of our winter schedule and will shortly commence daily flights to Sindhudurg as well.”
Regarding the Tirupati expansion, Chacko added, “With Bengaluru joining our Tirupati network, we are making it easier for people in Karnataka to access one of southern India’s most important pilgrimage destinations. Alongside our existing services from Hyderabad, Vijayawada, and Rajahmundry, this connection strengthens regional air links and gives passengers more options to plan their journeys. Our focus remains on connecting cities that matter to people and making air travel a practical and convenient option.”
The network expansions form part of FLY91’s broader growth plan under its Winter Schedule 2026–27, which sees the airline’s weekly flight operations increase from 280 to over 350 as frequencies build across its regional network.
Following these additions, FLY91’s connected network across India now encompasses 14 destinations: Goa (Manohar International Airport, Mopa), Navi Mumbai, Sindhudurg, Jalgaon, Solapur, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Agatti, Kochi, Hubballi, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada, and Tirupati.
To support its long-term fleet and route strategy, FLY91 recently placed a firm order for 40 ATR 72-600 aircraft valued at approximately US$1 billion, representing the largest ATR firm order globally by a regional airline.
Tickets for both the Navi Mumbai services and the Bengaluru–Tirupati flights are currently available for purchase through the airline’s official website and major online travel booking platforms.
