
HKTB unveils ‘Hong Kong Summer Fun’ campaign
The Hong Kong Tourism Board has launched “Hong Kong Summer Fun,” a citywide campaign featuring events, attractions, and exclusive visitor offers. The highlight is the upgraded Sun Life Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Festival, celebrating its 50th anniversary from June 19 to July 1. Alongside sporting events and cultural programmes, visitors can enjoy discounts on attractions, transport, shopping, and dining, reinforcing Hong Kong’s appeal as a vibrant summer destination.
Baden-Württemberg strengthens India outreach
Baden-Württemberg Tourism has partnered with AVIAREPS India to boost its visibility among Indian travellers through trade and PR initiatives. The German state aims to showcase its rich mix of culture, nature, wellness, gastronomy, luxury, and MICE offerings. With over 42,000 Indian visitors recorded in 2025, the destination sees India as a key growth market. The partnership will promote Baden-Württemberg as a premium European destination for experiential and high-value travel.
IHG Hotels & Resorts signs Holiday Inn Mandi
IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with Mac View Infrabiz Private Limited to develop the 100-key Holiday Inn Mandi. Strategically located on the Chandigarh–Manali corridor, the hotel will cater to business, leisure, and transit travellers. The property will feature modern rooms, dining outlets, and event facilities. The signing strengthens IHG’s presence in Himachal Pradesh and supports its continued expansion across emerging hospitality markets in North India.
SaffronStays launches app to boost family travel loyalty
SaffronStays has launched its consumer app on iOS and Android to strengthen engagement with repeat family travellers. The platform offers features such as self check-in, in-stay support, offline access, and a direct emergency assistance button. With over 38,600 downloads within weeks of launch, the app already contributes around 7% of revenue. The company expects repeat revenue to grow by nearly 50% this year and plans to introduce AI-powered trip planning, collaborative wishlists, and loyalty rewards.
