ITB India 2026 kicked off in Mumbai today, creating a dynamic platform for business, networking, knowledge exchange and new partnerships across the global travel ecosystem. The fourth in-person edition is expected to attract over 3,000 travel professionals, more than 100 exhibiting brands and over 400 qualified buyers from India and South Asia.
With participation spanning leisure, MICE, corporate travel and travel technology, the show features pre-scheduled business meetings alongside a conference programme addressing trends shaping the future of travel. A new addition this year is the ITB India Leadership Roundtable, bringing senior decision-makers together to discuss the next phase of India’s tourism growth.

Highlighting India’s growing importance globally, Alexis Guest, Vice President – Global Operators, Travelport, said, “India is vitally important for Travelport and we are investing heavily in the market. We believe India is going to be a growth market that will shape travel rather than simply react to it.”

Himanshu Kesari Patil, Director, Kesari Groups and President, OTOAI, welcomed the show as an important buyer-seller platform. “It is a great opportunity for buyers and sellers to meet, interact and understand new business opportunities. India has tremendous potential, and shows like ITB India will definitely give a boost to the travel industry,” he said.
With enthusiastic industry participation on Day One, ITB India 2026 has set the stage for three days of conversations, connections and insights into the evolving Indian and South Asian travel markets.
