
ATOAI elects new Office Bearers and EC for term 2026–28
The Adventure Tour Operators Association of India (ATOAI) has elected Tejbir Singh Anand as President for the 2026–28 term following its AGM in New Delhi. Vaibhav Kala was elected Senior Vice President, Ronny Singh Gulati Vice President, Paras Loomba Honorary Secretary and Yog Chinmoy Dutt Honorary Treasurer. The elections, supervised by Returning Officer Rajeev Kohli, also saw Shekhar Babu and Amit Periwal elected to the Executive Committee.
IHG Hotels & Resorts signs Garner Hotel Ahmedabad Motera
IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a franchise agreement for the 40-key Garner Hotel Ahmedabad Motera, scheduled to open in 2029. Developed by Devpriya Buildcon and managed by United Hospitality Management India, the hotel marks Garner’s debut in Ahmedabad. Located near Narendra Modi Stadium and the Sabarmati Bullet Train hub, the signing strengthens IHG’s partnership with UHM and expands its growing midscale conversion brand portfolio in India.
UPSTDC launches five-day ‘Spiritual Triangle’ tour
Uttar Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation has launched a four-night, five-day ‘Spiritual Triangle’ Tour connecting Varanasi, Prayagraj and Ayodhya under its ‘Visit My State’ campaign. The itinerary includes Ganga Aarti, VIP darshan at Kashi Vishwanath and Ram Mandir, Sarnath, Sangam and major temples and ghats. Packages start from ₹13,000 per person and include accommodation, breakfast, transport, guide services and a boat ride.
Nok Air returns to India with Hyderabad-Bangkok service
Nok Air has strengthened its India presence with the launch of a new international service connecting Hyderabad and Bangkok via Don Mueang International Airport. The route marks an important step in the airline’s international expansion and reflects its confidence in growing India-Thailand travel demand. Nok Air plans to work closely with local travel trade and distribution partners to position Hyderabad as a strong gateway for leisure, business and VFR travel.
