ITB Asia 2026 opened on October 21 at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands, Singapore, bringing together the global travel fraternity for three days of business networking, knowledge exchange and industry collaboration. Organised by Messe Berlin Asia Pacific, the 19th edition runs until October 23 alongside MICE Show Asia and Travel Tech Asia.
With over 80% international exhibitors, the event features more than 1,000 exhibiting brands and is expected to facilitate 60,000 business appointments. The opening ceremony welcomed industry leaders and distinguished guests, including Gan Siow Huang, Singapore’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Energy, Trade and Industry.

Under the theme “Experiences in Motion: Human-Centred Design in Travel & Tourism”, the exhibition highlights evolving traveller expectations, artificial intelligence, experiential tourism and emerging business opportunities. New Experience Zones and expanded MICE offerings further strengthen its international appeal.
A major announcement was the launch of ITB Asia Select, a regional B2B trade show platform. Its inaugural edition will take place in Jakarta, Indonesia, on June 23–24, 2027, in partnership with the Association of the Indonesian Tours and Travel Agencies (ASITA), following an MoU signed in Singapore. The initiative aims to deepen regional engagement and create fresh opportunities for international travel businesses.
