TRAC Representations has successfully organized a comprehensive Familiarization (FAM) trip for prominent members of the Indian travel trade fraternity to participate in the prestigious Cambodia Travel Match (CTM) 2026 Mini-Series – India Special Edition.
The year-long CTM initiative is designed to boost international arrivals by bringing global buyers and outbound operators face-to-face with Cambodia’s premier travel offerings. Jointly organized by the Pacific Asia Travel Association Cambodia Chapter (PATACC) in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, the Cambodia Tourism Board (CTB), the Cambodia Tourism Federation (CTF), and the Indian Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia (ICC), the India Special Edition serves as a targeted destination marketing platform aimed at driving fresh business agreements, strengthening public-private partnerships, and revitalizing travel numbers from India.

Exploring New Circuit Potential: Siem Reap, Phnom Penh & Beyond
The itinerary highlighted both established landmarks and unique, sustainable travel experiences:

Cultural immersion included guided visits to the Royal Palace and the National Museum, where delegates were captivated by rare historical artifacts—including ancient statues of Bali and Sugriva—underscoring the deep roots connecting Indian and Cambodian history.

Voice of the Delegation
“Very rarely do you find a destination as immediately captivating as Cambodia. From a three-minute immigration process to the breathtaking grandeur of Angkor Wat and the vibrant energy of Phnom Penh, the experience exceeded every expectation.
The deep-rooted cultural connections—evident even in the rare idols of Bali and Sugriva at the National Museum—make this destination uniquely compelling for Indian travellers. Coupled with unmatched hospitality, incredible food, and extraordinary value for money, Cambodia deserves a far greater share of outbound Indian tourism. We leave with unforgettable memories and a firm commitment to building strong trade volume.”
Looking Ahead
With strong B2B engagements, high-level networking, and firsthand immersion, the CTM 2026 India Special Edition FAM trip successfully laid the groundwork for enhanced trade agreements and joint marketing initiatives. Both Indian trade partners and Cambodian tourism authorities expressed strong optimism for a substantial surge in Indian tourist arrivals in the coming seasons.
