#First Opinion
“The true measure of hospitality is not how warmly we welcome our guests, but how responsibly we protect them. Safety is not a cost; it is an investment in trust, and trust remains the most valuable asset any hospitality establishment can possess. As one of India’s leading tourism destinations, Goa is constantly in the spotlight. Even isolated incidents can impact destination perception and visitor confidence. This makes accountability, preparedness and regular safety assessments critical. Strengthening safety standards requires government, industry, hospitality establishments and institutions to work together towards a common goal.”
Shri Rohan A. Khaunte,
Hon’ble Minister for Tourism, Government of Goa
