“Convention India Conclave is a very important MICE event in the country that sets the tone for the MICE industry. This time, CIC is being held in collaboration with ITPO, Government of Delhi and Ministry of Tourism at Bharat Mandapam. The next decade is going to be India’s story, especially for MICE. The growth of convention centres across India, including ONGC Urja and Marriott Marquis in Delhi, has addressed the long-standing need for infrastructure. Now, we need to collectively market India as a preferred MICE destination and knowledge hub for the world. The active role of government and an effective MICE policy are the need of the hour. Along with CIC, the CEO Summit and Power Breakfast Brainstorming will help build a competitive index for the country.”
