The sprawling new 1100 sq ft. office located at the Crescent Business Park is strategically located close to Terminal 2. The new space is thoughtfully designed to reflect the stature, legacy, and goodwill of TAAI as it celebrates 75 glorious years of excellence. The inauguration was done by Cyrus Guzder, Former President, TAAI , in the esteemed presence of Sunil Kumar, President, TAAI, Bettaiah Lokesh, Vice President; Shreeram Patel, Hon. Secretary General; Paras Lakhia, Hon.Treasurer; National Managing Committee Members and the Chapter Chairpersons.
The Former Presidents of TAAI-Cyrus Guzder, Iqbal Mulla, Mahendra Sanghi, Ashwini Kakkar were felicitated with a plaque in recognition of their contribution towards the organisation. The event was graced by presence of several prominent figures of the travel fraternity and the travel media.
Sharing his excitement on the milestone achievement, Sunil Kumar said, “It’s a wonderful day for us at TAAI-a historic happening and a milestone accomplishment that we are moving into a much larger office to house our Headquarters and the National Secretariat. This is not only honouring the legacy of 75 years but creating a milestone for the future. It is a gift that we would like to present from the past to the future just like the earlier office was a gift to us from the past.
In TAAI’s 75th year, this is the gift from the current Committee to the future of TAAI. I am quite certain that the new space is so good that it will be a talk of the country and set a new benchmark as an industry association coming up with this initiative”.
Following the inauguration, the Western Region Chapter Meeting was held at the Iconiqa Hotel which commenced with the 75th Year ‘TAAI Utsav’ celebrations in the presence of the TAAI leadership. The evening concluded with a stand-up comedy show by Atul Khatri and a networking dinner. With its new contemporary premises, TAAI has laid a robust foundation for the next chapter of the journey.
