The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, will participate in World Travel Market (WTM) London 2026, one of the leading international travel and tourism trade events, to showcase India’s diverse tourism offerings and strengthen its engagement with the global travel trade. The event is scheduled to be held at ExCeL London from November 3 – 5, 2026. The theme for this year WTM is Resilience, rebound & reinvention: the next era of global travel.
Through its participation, the Ministry aims to position India as a compelling year-round tourism destination, highlighting its rich cultural heritage, historical landmarks, spiritual traditions, diverse landscapes, wildlife, wellness experiences and vibrant culinary traditions.
The Ministry’s participation is expected to bring together representatives from State Governments and Union Territory Administrations, tour operators and other stakeholders from India’s tourism and hospitality sectors. Their collective presence will provide an opportunity to showcase destination specific experiences, facilitate business-to-business interactions and establish new partnerships with international tour operators, travel agents, destination management companies and other industry stakeholders.
The Ministry’s participation at WTM London also reflects India’s continued efforts to strengthen its presence in key international source markets, enhance destination awareness and encourage greater international tourist arrivals.
The United Kingdom remains an important market for Indian tourism, supported by longstanding cultural and historical connections, strong people-to-people ties and a substantial Indian diaspora.
