With over 12 years of extensive experience in the hospitality industry, Kunal brings strong expertise in engineering operations, sustainability initiatives, project management, and technical leadership. He has been associated with renowned hospitality brands including IHCL and Marriott International, where he has successfully led large-scale engineering operations, driven energy optimisation initiatives, and implemented innovative sustainability practices.
In his most recent role, Kunal was serving as Chief Engineer at Tajsats Air Catering, where he has been leading major projects including the development of an IFK (In-Flight kitchen) at the Noida International Airport India’s first IGBC-certified green campus Airport. He also played a key role in developing a cloud kitchen project at Gurgaon focused on institutional catering operations.
Kunal is a highly accomplished and solutions-oriented professional known for his technical expertise, operational excellence, and strategic approach towards sustainability and infrastructure management. His expertise spans across facility management, ESG implementation, energy optimisation, safety compliance, pre-opening projects, and team leadership. Over the years, he has received multiple recognitions for innovation and sustainability initiatives, including achieving Earth Check Gold and Platinum certifications across leading hospitality properties.
Sharing his thoughts on the new role, Kunal said, “I am excited to be a part of Accor – Novotel Jaipur Convention Centre and JECC. I look forward to leveraging my experience in engineering operations and sustainability to further strengthen operational excellence, enhance efficiency, and contribute towards creating world-class guest experiences.”
In his role as Director of Engineering, Kunal will be responsible for overseeing the entire engineering and maintenance operations, driving sustainability and energy management initiatives, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining high operational standards across the property.
