The official inauguration was done by Shri Aswini Kumar Patra, Honorable Tourism Minister of Odisha. The event was kick-started with an audio-visual presentation by Hospitality Management Group Swosti Groups of Hotel, Hotel Excellency and Xenious Hotels & Resorts. The Day then went on with industry networking and insightful interactions.
The day two of the Conclave commenced with an early Panel Discussion on ‘Ecotourism and Sustainable Development in India’, which was moderated by Shri P. P. Khanna, President, ADTOI who did an excellent job in bringing out some insightful points to the core.
In addition to this, there were panel discussions on ‘Hospitality, Tourism Management, and Marketing’, which was moderated by Dr Manoj Mishra, Eminent Professors and International Travel Consultant. This Session too brought some interesting means of addressing the above-mentioned points. Another session on ‘Destination Development in Tourism’ was moderated by Gagan Sarengi, Chairman, IATO Odisha Chapter Chairman who shared his vast knowledge with the audience. Following this, tabletop B2B session were held that engaged the tour operators. Alongside, there were also presentations from the Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India, and the tourism boards of Jharkhand and Jammu & Kashmir.
The conclave concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Pradip Kumar Karar, CEO & Chairperson of FMPL, followed by a lively cocktail and gala dinner at the hotel.
