Nile Air appoints Aeroprime Group as UK Passenger GSA
Nile Air, Egypt’s largest private airline, has appointed Aeroprime Group as its Passenger General Sales Agent (GSA) in the United Kingdom, effective November 1, 2026. Aeroprime will oversee passenger sales, travel trade engagement and business development across the UK. The partnership aims to expand Nile Air’s distribution network, strengthen relationships with travel agents and tour operators, and identify new revenue opportunities, further supporting Aeroprime’s growing international airline representation portfolio.
South African Tourism engages Indian trade on new ETA process
South African Tourism is working closely with the Indian travel trade to simplify understanding of its new Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) process. Designed to streamline travel formalities, the digital system aims to provide authorisation within 48 hours. In collaboration with South Africa’s Department of Home Affairs, South African Tourism conducted its first ETA workshop in Pune on September 22, 2026, engaging 65 trade partners on applications, timelines and procedures.
