The delegation included 22 esteemed travel agents, two leading media professionals, and one travel influencer, with the President of OTOAI himself gracing the trip, reinforcing the association’s commitment to strengthening Indo-Moroccan tourism ties.
The 8-day experiential journey began in Casablanca, with a visit to the iconic Hassan II Mosque and a panoramic city tour, followed by excursions to Rabat, Tangier, Chefchaouen, Fès, and Marrakech, each offering a unique blend of tradition and modernity. Participants traveled on the Al Boraq high-speed train, explored UNESCO World Heritage sites, and were hosted in Morocco’s finest luxury properties including Four Seasons Casablanca, Fairmont Palais Tazi Tangier, and The Oberoi Marrakech.
Highlights included guided city tours, cultural immersions, culinary experiences with authentic Moroccan and Indian cuisines, and networking evenings with local tourism professionals. A dedicated workshop and cocktail evening in Marrakech further enriched the business-to-business exchange between Moroccan stakeholders and Indian outbound agents.
This initiative showcased the destination’s readiness for Indian travellers, be it FIT, leisure, luxury, or cultural tourism, creating new avenues for collaboration and future group travel opportunities.
MNTO and OTOAI extend gratitude to all partners and attendees for making this journey a successful milestone in fostering stronger bilateral tourism.
