This fun-filled tour was a great success with over twenty skalleagues in attendance along with representatives of the media. The idea behind this tour was to enjoy a glimpse of Mumbai at night with iconic landmarks lit up beautifully, showcasing the city’s transformation into a vibrant metropolis. The journey started from the Jehangir Art Gallery covering iconic spots of the city such as Regal Cinema, Marine Drive, Peddar Road, Haji Ali, and Bandra-Worli Sea Link, returning through the same route. A tour guide shared information about the iconic landmarks and some fun facts about the city. Skalleagues were treated to a sumptuous dinner onboard. It was an experience of a lifetime for all members as they enjoyed marvellous views of Mumbai and its fascinating skyline.
Speaking to BOTT in an exclusive chat, Burjis Mehta, President, Skal International Bombay 144 said, “We conceptualised this as we wished to do something offbeat instead of a regular networking dinner. The first night tour was held on April 6th, 2024 and it was a huge success. Similarly, today we have the second tour with seventy-five per cent coach occupancy. This tour gives you a completely different perspective of Mumbai. When you learn about the history of Mumbai, you understand how it has evolved from a small fishing village to a mega Metropolis and the financial capital of India.
