Air India gets key regulatory approval for A350 engineering maintenance
Air India has received the DGCA approval for engineering line maintenance of A350 and A320 aircraft. This is a major step forward in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the six A350 aircraft which is set to join the Air India fleet, with the first one expected to land by the month end. Along with this key approval, Air India engineers also received the DGCA certification for attending to any work related to the maintenance of A350 aircraft.

Vistara inaugurates non-stop flights between Mumbai and Doha
Vistara inaugurated direct 4x weekly flights between Mumbai and Doha. The inaugural flight, operated on Vistara’s A321neo aircraft, commencing from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai, at 18:45 Hours (IST) on 15 December 2023 and arriving at Hamad International Airport, Doha, at 20:30 Hours (local time zone). Vistara recently also added 50th A320neo to its ever-expanding fleet.
Sheraton, New Delhi unveils ‘United Weaves of Bharat’
‘United Weaves of Bharat’ Christmas tree glows at Sheraton, New Delhi. The 13 feet multi-tiered visual spectacle has been wrapped with the hand spun yarns and adorned with weaving techniques namely Chanderi, Benarasi, Chikankari, Bhagalpur silk, Ikat, Bandhani, Phulkari, Khadi, Ajrak, Muga silk, Kutch embroidery and Kalamkari. Sourced locally from artisans across different states, the tree lamp has been crafted using recycled materials.

Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, has announced the increase in flight frequencies to Athens from today in order to give its European operations a boost. This will also offer seamless connectivity to travellers taking flights from India to Athens via Bahrain. We will be expanding its schedule to and from Athens with 10 weekly flights. We will further increase the flight frequencies from April’24 onwards.
