The third in series of ATOAI Seminar & Adventure Tourism Roadshow concludes successfully in Delhi

The Adventure Tour Operators Association of India (ATOAI) announces the successful conclusion of the Third Seminar & Adventure Tourism Roadshow, which took place at The Park, New Delhi on September 21st, 2023.

The event was graced by the presence of the Director General, Ministry of Tourism, Smt. Manisha Saxena as the Chief Guest. Mr. Vibhava Tripathi, Asst. Director General, Ministry of Tourism, Mr. R. K Suman Regional Director, North, Ministry of Tourism, Colonel PS Chohan Director Army Adventure Wing, Brig. Ashok Abbey Former President Indian Mountaineering Foundation & ATOAI
Honorary Patron and Capt. Swadesh Kumar, Founder President and lifetime Honorary Patron, ATOAI were the Guest of Honor.

This event proved to be an exceptional platform for adventure enthusiasts, travel professionals, and industry stakeholders nationwide to convene, share insights, and establish valuable connections within the adventure tourism sector. The ATOAI Seminar & Adventure Tourism Roadshow offered invitees a unique opportunity to engage in the exchange of best practices, learn from esteemed industry experts, and delve into the diverse realm of adventure travel. The event placed a strong emphasis on enhancing the skills necessary for marketing and selling adventure tourism products. Participants had the privilege of attending captivating sessions focusing on Responsible Adventure Tourism, exemplary practices, and expert insights into the art of promoting and selling thrilling adventure travel experiences.

As a prelude to the main event, ATOAI conducted a Certified First Aid, CPR & Wilderness Responder Course on September 19th and 20th. This specialized course equipped adventure guides from the southern region with essential skills to handle emergency situations in the wilderness. Comprehensive training in first aid, CPR, wilderness response techniques, risk mitigation, leave-no-trace ethos, and responsible adventure travel practices were provided. The course received enthusiastic participation, further emphasizing the industry’s commitment to
safety and responsibility.
One of the highlights of the ATOAI Seminar & Adventure Tourism Roadshow was the exclusive opportunity to interact with authentic sellers of adventure products. Attendees had the chance to explore a range of exhibitors showcasing exhilarating adventure tourism offerings from various parts of the country. Adventure Sports Cover 360, ATOAI’s Adventure Insurance and Rescue Partner, was also present at the event, offering valuable insights into risk management and safety measures.
