For the first time, Asego Global Insurance, GRN Connect, and renowned AI expert Mr. Aman Kaushik delivered engaging presentations, including a highly impactful AI Masterclass tailored for travel professionals. The session highlighted the growing importance of Artificial Intelligence in the travel and tourism sector and was widely appreciated by all attendees.
The highlight of the event was a grand felicitation ceremony honouring distinguished personalities and contributors to the tourism and travel fraternity.
Honouring Former Chairmen’s
The Chapter paid tribute to its former Chairmen of J&K Chapter for their visionary leadership, guidance, and unwavering support in shaping the organization’s journey:

* Mr. Shamim Shah – Immediate Past Chairman who now serves as National Managing Committee Member

Torch Bearer Awards – Senior Industry Veterans
In recognition of their long-standing association and dedication, the “Torch Bearer Award” was conferred upon:
* Mr. Mohd Akram Siah – TAFI Member since 2001
* Mr. Zahoor Ahmad Qari – TAFI Member since 2017

Special Honour – Veteran of J&K Tourism
A special recognition was bestowed upon Mr. Nasir Shah for his remarkable 48 years of service to the tourism industry. Widely regarded as a strong voice of the trade, his continued guidance remains invaluable to the fraternity.
Industry Contributors Recognised
Mr. Faiz A. Bakshi was honoured with the title of “Green Ambassador of Kashmir” for his outstanding efforts in environmental conservation and enhancing the valley’s green cover through plantation initiatives.
Mrs. Abroo Ratta of Honeygold was felicitated for her exemplary contribution spanning over two decades and was conferred the title of “First Woman Entrepreneur of the Kashmir Tourism Industry”.
The Chapter also acknowledged the continued support of its partners:
