Elevated Flavours: At the Skytree Cafe (Floor 350), guests can enjoy exclusive collaboration menus, including the Wasanbon Uji Matcha Au Lait, a refined latte using traditional Japanese sugar and the Uji Matcha Savory Japanese Sundae, featuring rich vanilla soft serve and red bean paste.
The Art of the Pour: For those seeking a deeper connection, the tower will host ‘Savouring the Season of New Tea: Tokyo Sky Tea Ceremony’ on select dates in May and June. These morning workshops, led by masters from the local tea school ‘Chiho-an,’ allow guests to learn the etiquette of the tea ceremony in the quiet, morning light of a private observation deck.
Cultural Immersion: The observation decks will feature traditional tea-room-inspired photo spots, including an ‘Aerial Tea Seat’ on Floor 350 and a ‘Special Window Seat’ on Floor 340 that frames the early summer sky alongside seasonal tea decorations.
A Glowing Tribute: Even the night sky will participate. A new special lighting display titled ‘Kissako’ (a Zen term meaning ‘Please, have some tea’) will illuminate the tower in shades of matcha green, mimicking the rhythmic motion of whisking tea.
