It is the moment of great honour for Mr. Kush Kapoor, CEO Roseate Hotels and resorts to join as Chairman for National Council on Tourism and Hospitality of one of the nation’s largest and most influential chambers of commerce.
With over 23 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Mr. Kapoor has worked at many iconic hotels during his hospitality career across India including ‘The Taj Group’ of hotels and ‘The Leela Group’ and has many laurels to his feat. In his role as Chairman of National Council on Tourism & Hospitality, ASSOCHAM, his focus areas will be on enhancing Digitization (Travel & Tourism innovations, and digital and new-age technologies); Empowerment (Tourism is about taking a community on a journey, showing them what is possible using the skills they have, those we can teach, and the opportunities we can provide) and Sustainability (Sustainable Tourism as ‘Tourism that takes full account of its current and future economic, social and environmental impacts). Mr. Kapoor has joined the Chambers when its role in reviving the industry has never been more crucial.
Speaking on his joining, Mr. Kush Kapoor said, “I feel honoured and humbled to join ASSOCHAM. I hope to work with the body to help the hospitality and tourism industry to recover from the aftermath of the pandemic. It will take collective action by stakeholders across both the public and private sectors to ensure recovery and I look forward to sharing my expertise to help guide broad-based progress.”
