From 5th to 13th September, 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Executive Chef Prakash Yadav will bring the charm and rich culinary heritage of Purani Dilli to the city, recreating some of its most beloved street-food.
Inspired by the bustling streets and timeless food culture of Old Delhi, Dawat-e-Dilli promises an indulgent experience that goes beyond the plate. The restaurant will be transformed with themed décor inspired by the vibrant character of Purani Dilli, while themed music will set the mood, transporting guests into the heart of the old city as they dine. From the aromas of slow-cooked Mughlai delicacies to the lively spirit of Delhi’s famous food lanes, every element will come together to create an immersive culinary experience.
Guests can savour a selection of Old Delhi favourites including Nihari, Mutton Korma, Shami Kebab, Chicken Tikka and Butter Chicken. The vegetarian spread brings together much-loved classics such as Kulchas, Kachoris, Stuffed Parathas and Chole Bhature.
No Delhi food trail would be complete without its legendary chaat. The festival will feature Papdi Chaat, Dahi Bhalla, Gol Gappe, Aloo Tikki and Fruit Chaat, offering guests a vibrant taste of the city’s iconic street-food culture.
The experience culminates on a sweet note with traditional favourites including Daulat Ki Chaat, Shahi Tukda, Jalebi Rabri and Kadai Wala Doodh Jalebi.
Executive Chef Prakash Yadav says, “Purani Dilli is not just a place, it is an emotion expressed through food. Every dish has a story, from the slow-cooked richness of Nihari and Mutton Korma to the lively flavours of chaat and the nostalgia of jalebi with rabri. With Dawat-e-Dilli, our aim is to bring the spirit of those bustling streets to Gurugram and give our guests an experience that feels both authentic and nostalgic. It is a celebration of the food, memories and traditions that make Dilli truly special.”
