At a time when much of the industry remained focused on established gateway cities, Cygnett chose to build its presence in Tier II and Tier III markets and the North East—regions that have since witnessed rapid infrastructure development, improving connectivity and rising travel demand. The company was among the early branded hospitality players to establish a presence in destinations such as Ayodhya and several cities across the North East, anticipating long-term opportunities in these markets well before they entered mainstream hospitality conversations.
Today, Cygnett operates across multiple segments through brands including Cygnett Hotels, Cygnett Park, Cygnett Inn, Cozzet, Cygnett Resort/Retreat and Anamore, its luxury Upper Upscale hospitality platform catering to experiential and upscale travel.
As it enters its next phase of growth, the company is accelerating its expansion through a robust pipeline of hotels and resorts expected to open over the next 24 to 30 months. Upcoming projects are spread across high-growth destinations including Pushkar, Jaipur, Kasauli-Kiarighat, Srinagar, Goa, Sonapur, Guwahati, Itanagar, Jim Corbett, Gurugram, Navi Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chail, Ujjain, Panvel, Murud, Tirupati, Vrindavan, Tawang, Motihari, Dhanbad and Kharagpur, among others.
A defining chapter in Cygnett’s growth journey has been its strategic alliance with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, the world’s largest hotel franchising company by number of hotels. Through this partnership, Cygnett is integrating global distribution capabilities, international sales reach and access to Wyndham Rewards®, one of the world’s largest hotel loyalty programmes with more than 122 million enrolled members globally.
The collaboration is also reshaping the company’s brand architecture. All upcoming hotels and resorts under development are planned to operate under Wyndham-affiliated brands, including Cygnett Hotels™, Cygnett Park™, Cygnett Inn™ and Cozzet™ under Trademark Collection® by Wyndham, alongside Anamore® and Anamore Select® under Registry Collection Hotels® by Wyndham and La Quinta® by Wyndham. The move is expected to significantly enhance international visibility, strengthen distribution and create long-term value for hotel owners and investors.
Several Cygnett properties have already been integrated into the Trademark Collection® by Wyndham portfolio, including hotels in Jaipur, Itanagar, Tezpur, Dibrugarh, Bongaigaon, Bhubaneswar and Ayodhya, enabling them to benefit from Wyndham’s global reservation ecosystem while retaining their local identity.
