IndiGo onboards first all-women Technician Batch
IndiGo marked National Engineering Day 2025 by welcoming its first-ever all-women batch of 33 aircraft maintenance technicians. This milestone strengthens the airline’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) vision while promoting greater representation of women in technical roles. The new recruits underwent an induction program featuring motivational sessions with senior leaders and women engineers. IndiGo has over 44.8% women employees and 16.2% women pilots.
FLY91 waives Convenience Fee for all September bookings
Regional carrier FLY91 has announced the waiver of convenience fees on all bookings made via its official website until September 30, 2025—an industry-first initiative in India. The offer comes with no travel date restrictions, allowing passengers more flexibility and direct savings. Manoj Chacko, MD & CEO, said, “By doing away with the convenience fee, we are offering customers a transparent and cost-effective booking experience.”
