Radisson Hotel Group, MBD Group ink master franchise pact
Radisson Hotel Group (RHG) has announced a long-term strategic partnership with MBD Group under a Master Franchise Agreement to expand its luxury and lifestyle brands, Radisson Collection and Radisson RED, across India. As part of the alliance, the iconic Radisson Blu MBD Hotel Noida will be repositioned as Radisson Collection MBD following a comprehensive upgrade. The partnership strengthens RHG’s luxury portfolio, combining global brand standards with MBD’s development and operational expertise.
Le Méridien Dehradun Resort & Spa opens in Doon Valley
Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts has debuted Le Méridien Dehradun Resort & Spa, marking the brand’s entry into Uttarakhand’s leisure hub. Nestled along the Nun River in the Doon Valley, the resort offers contemporary design, signature spa therapies, and over 24,000 sq. ft. of event space. Located 45 minutes from Jolly Grant Airport, the property caters to leisure seekers, weddings, and corporate gatherings, serving as a gateway to Mussoorie, Rishikesh, and Haridwar.
LOT Polish Airlines reports strong 2025 performance
LOT Polish Airlines carried over 11.7 million passengers in 2025, reflecting a 9.4% year-on-year growth. The Star Alliance member placed orders for 55 new aircraft, with options for 44 more, and inducted Boeing 737 MAX-8 jets into its fleet. The airline will also add two Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners in late 2026. Network expansion continues with new routes, including Lisbon, Marrakesh, and upcoming services to San Francisco and Bangkok.
OPO Hotels signs OPO Horizon – The Venue in Delhi NCR
OPO Hotels has expanded its Delhi NCR footprint with the signing of OPO Horizon – The Venue in Mahipalpur. Located near Indira Gandhi International Airport and NH-48, the 50-key upscale midscale hotel operates under a management model. Designed for corporate and transit travellers, the property features contemporary rooms and a 40-cover all-day dining restaurant, strengthening OPO’s presence in one of NCR’s busiest hospitality corridors.

FICCI’s flagship initiative, The Great Indian Travel Bazaar (GITB) has been held for 14 years in Jaipur, Rajasthan, since its inception in 2008. The Travel Bazaar concept was pioneered by FICCI in partnership with the Department of Tourism, Govt. of Rajasthan, and remains the only exclusive inbound tourism platform in India. Over 11,000 structured pre-scheduled B2B meetings take place between 280 foreign tour operators from 50 countries and 290 Indian sellers, followed by a post-event FAM trip. The 15th edition will be held on April 26–28, 2026 in Jaipur.
