One Above raises strategic Venture Round from Cosmic Group at SATTE
At SATTE Day 1, One Above announced a strategic venture investment from Cosmic Group, marking a major step in its global expansion journey. The partnership strengthens One Above’s on-ground operations and technology stack, while accelerating growth of its B2B platform, DMC Bazaar. “We’re building One Above and DMC Bazaar for the world,” said Irshad Dadan, Director, One Above, adding, “This investment gives us the foundation to scale globally.”
PHL crosses 30 million Passengers again in 2025
Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) welcomed over 30.1 million passengers in 2025, marking the second consecutive year it crossed the 30 million milestone. International traffic surpassed 4.1 million travellers, reflecting a 7.5% rise over 2024. New services by Aeroméxico, American Airlines and Frontier Airlines boosted connectivity. Cargo volumes also grew 7.4%, with over 482,000 tons handled, signalling strong recovery and expansion across passenger and freight segments.
FLY91 inducts two ATR 72-600 Aircraft
FLY91 has added two brand new ATR 72-600 aircraft to its fleet at a ceremony in Dubai World Central. Acquired from Dubai Aerospace Enterprise, the induction takes the airline’s fleet to six aircraft since launching operations in March 2024. The new aircraft will strengthen regional connectivity across underserved Indian destinations. The move reflects FLY91’s strategy of disciplined expansion, enhancing reliability and sustainable growth in India’s regional aviation sector.
Mitsis Group appoints One Rep Global in India
Greek hospitality major Mitsis Group has appointed One Rep Global as its official India Sales and Marketing representative. With a portfolio of 24 hotels and 12 spa centres across Greece, Mitsis aims to tap rising Indian outbound demand to Europe. The partnership will promote Greece as a premium leisure, wedding and multi-generational holiday destination, aligning with growing Indian interest in luxury island escapes and culturally immersive experiences.
