IndiGo doubles A350-900 orders with Airbus
IndiGo, India’s leading airline, has confirmed an order for 30 additional Airbus A350-900 aircraft, converting its purchase rights into firm orders. This move doubles its wide-body fleet order from 30 to 60 aircraft. The MoU for this expansion was signed during the IATA AGM in New Delhi in June 2025. The acquisition strengthens IndiGo’s global ambitions, enhancing long-haul connectivity and positioning it for major international route expansion.
IRCTC launches ‘Holy Kashi’ spiritual circuit package
IRCTC Tourism has unveiled a new “Holy Kashi” air-inclusive package covering four revered cities — Varanasi, Prayagraj, Ayodhya, and Bodh Gaya — starting at ₹39,750. Designed for spiritual travellers, the itinerary includes flights, hotels, guided tours, local transfers, and select meals. The tour offers an immersive exploration of ancient temples, ghats, and Buddhist pilgrimage sites, blending spirituality with comfort. Departures are available from select southern cities across multiple dates.
IHCL records robust H1 FY2026 with 46 signings and 26 openings
The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), South Asia’s largest hospitality group, reported stellar performance in the first half of FY2026 with 46 new signings and 26 hotel openings.
