
IHG signs InterContinental Resort Jaipur Achrol
IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with Makson India Hospitality Pvt Ltd. for InterContinental Resort Jaipur Achrol. Scheduled to open in early 2030, the 225-key luxury resort will include 36 villas and 189 guest rooms. Spread across 16 acres on Delhi–Jaipur Road, the resort will strengthen IHG’s luxury portfolio and mark the second InterContinental hotel in the Jaipur market.
India tops Washington, DC visitor spend
India emerged as Washington, DC’s top spending international market in 2025 and its second-largest market by international visitor volume. Indian travellers generated around $342.7 million in visitor spending, surpassing the United Kingdom. Washington, DC welcomed over 27.2 million visitors in 2025, generating $11.9 billion in visitor spending, $2.4 billion in tax revenue and supporting 114,013 jobs across the city’s tourism economy.
BWH Hotels signs Best Western Moga
BWH Hotels has announced the signing of Best Western Moga, further strengthening its presence in Punjab and expanding in India’s emerging markets. Strategically located on the Barnala–Amritsar Bypass Road, the full-service hotel is slated to open in 2030. The property will feature 50 rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, banquet spaces, landscaped lawns, bar, swimming pool and recreational facilities, catering to business, leisure and wedding travellers.
ROHL launches Regenta Place in Hyderabad
Royal Orchid Hotels Ltd. has launched Regenta Place Hi-Tech City, Hyderabad, marking the brand’s debut in Cyberabad. Located in HITEC City, the hotel offers easy access to Raidurg Metro Station, Rajiv Gandhi International Airport and Charminar. The property features 74 keys, including suites, executive rooms and business rooms, along with Good Vibes Only café and a 3,000 sq. ft. rooftop banquet space for meetings and celebrations.
