Sartha Global appointed India Rep for Louisiana Office of Tourism
The Louisiana Office of Tourism, the official travel authority for the state of Louisiana in the USA, has
appointed Sartha Global Marketing LLP as its representative office in India. Sartha has been assigned
to develop and implement comprehensive travel trade and public relations programs to inspire
Indian travellers, enhancing their interest in exploring Louisiana.
IndiGo enhances connectivity from Hyderabad and Ahmedabad
IndiGo has announced 10 daily direct flights to increase domestic connectivity from Hyderabad and
Ahmedabad in September 2024. There are now daily direct flights between Hyderabad and Hirasar,
from Sep 16. Hyderabad-Udaipur from Sep 1; Hyderabad-Jodhpur from Sep 3 and additional
frequencies on Ahmedabad-Amritsar from Sep 16; Ahmedabad-Bhubaneswar from Sep 17.
Honeywell signs long-term agreement with Air India
Honeywell has signed a long-term agreement with Air India for Auxiliary Power Unit (APU)
aftermarket support covering both Air India’s existing and new fleets. The agreement provides
comprehensive maintenance support for Honeywell APUs, ensuring high aircraft dispatch reliability
and fleet availability, and lower unplanned maintenance costs across Air India’s fleet.
Salt Lake City, Utah officially awarded the 2034 Olympic Host Contract
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) officially awarded Salt Lake City, Utah the host contract
for the 2034 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. After 32 years and more than a decade in the
making, the Winter Games will return to Utah and will be held in America for the fifth time.
