
Morocco sharpens India strategy at OTM 2026
The Moroccan National Tourism Office (MNTO) reinforced its strategic focus on India at Outbound Travel Mart (OTM) 2026 in Mumbai, following a landmark year of tourism growth. Morocco recorded 19.8 million international arrivals in 2025, up 14% year-on-year, with Indian arrivals rising 31% to 53,697—an impressive 224% jump over 2019. At OTM, MNTO outlined an India-specific strategy targeting Leisure, MICE, Destination Weddings and Film Tourism.

FLY91 launches daily Kochi–Agatti flights
Regional airline FLY91 has commenced daily services between Kochi and Agatti, strengthening mainland access to Lakshadweep. The inaugural flight was welcomed with a ceremonial water cannon salute at Kochi Airport. With strong early booking demand, the new route complements FLY91’s existing Goa–Agatti service and enhances connectivity via southern India. The airline has been operating daily services to Goa for the past two years.
The Fern Hotels launches Rajpath Beacon Hotel in Belagavi
The Fern Hotels & Resorts has expanded its footprint in Karnataka with the launch of Rajpath Beacon Hotel Belagavi. Centrally located, the 35-room property is designed as a smart, efficient hospitality offering for business and leisure travellers.
