ITC HOTELS to manage Lunera Castle Resort & Spa in Mandu
ITC Hotels has signed a management agreement with Bhopal based Lunera Castle Resort and Spa, for a
landmark property under brand Welcomhotel in Mandu, Madhya Pradesh. Welcomhotel Mandu –
the refreshed avatar of the heritage destination ‘Lunera ki Sarai’, will feature 94 rooms, an all-day
dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant, meeting spaces, spa and swimming pool.
TAT organizes Amazing Thailand Roadshow to India
To promote Thailand as a perfect holiday destination for Indians, Tourism Authority of Thailand
organized the Amazing Thailand Roadshow to India in Lucknow on August 21 AND Chandigarh on
August 23, 2024. The networking events started with a B-B session where Indian travel agents got an
opportunity to meet and network with 30 sellers from Thailand.
Viacation inaugurates new Walk-In Travel Store in Mumbai
Viacation Tourism Pvt. Ltd. has opened its first retail store in Mumbai. This marks the beginning of
their retail footprint in Mumbai, with more locations set to open across the country in the coming
month, including in Jaipur, Chandigarh, Bengaluru, Siliguri, and Guwahati. The new Ghatkopar store,
occupying 300 square feet, offers an extensive range of travel services.
The Machan set to launch five new hotels
The Machan is strategically poised for expansion with plans to open five new hotels. These recent
developments include prime locations in India such as Jaisalmer, Udaipur, and Jawai in Rajasthan, as
well as Mulshi and Pawna near Lonavala in Maharashtra. All of these properties are slated to open
between 2024 and 2025.
