“I feel it is time we stand up to the outrageous behaviour of Embassies and the High Commissions. Why is that tourism boards come and make wonderful mouth-watering pitch to promote their country and then leave us later at the helm of the snobbish behaviour of their respective Embassies and Consulates? Are we beggars? Are the corporates who spend millions of dollars in their countries fools to be launching conferences meetings and incentives in their countries?Today, India is the fastest growing economy and everyone wants pie of our business. But the irony is that we aren’t even making an attempt to show our might to them. This requires immediate action.”
