To mark the day, Air India released a special feature through its Newsroom, offering an exclusive look into the Air India Training Academy in Gurugram – the largest aviation training facility in South Asia. In a candid interview, NG Ju Li, Head of Cabin Crew Operations at Air India, shared insights into the academy’s operations and the rigorous training that prepares crew members for their roles.
The academy trains over 2,000 aviation professionals daily, including aspiring and current cabin crew. It plays a pivotal role in maintaining Air India’s high standards of service, safety, and hospitality.
Ju Li highlighted the dedication and discipline required to be part of the cabin crew and encouraged aspiring candidates to explore the path. She also acknowledged the invaluable contribution of existing crew members, stating, “They don’t just fly Air India – they are Air India.”
