The flagship event which was formerly known as ‘Accor Showcase’ provided an excellent opportunity for their most valued partners to discover Accor’s brand portfolio, as well as meeting hotel representatives from across 110 countries and 5,700 hotels and resorts worldwide. The various hotels exhibiting at the event were Novotel, Sofitel, Raffles, Ibis, Movenpick, Grand Mercure and a many more.
Pratima Badhwar, Head of Commercial India & South Asia at Accor spoke to BOTT in an exclusive chat. Sharing insights about the event and its phenomenal turnout she said, “This is the Mumbai chapter of the event ‘ALL THANKS TO YOU’. The first event took place in Delhi. This is an annual event where we take an opportunity to thank our partners for all the business and the support they extend to us all year round. This is very well represented by about sixty domestic and international hotels from Australia, Turkey, Africa and more. There is a good representation across all segments. We have seen a great turnout since morning. Everyone has been quiet busy. We are hopeful that all our partners, who have come from various countries, will go back with new friends, new connections, new network and some business as well”.
Elaborating on how this flagship event will help in shaping Accor’s brand name in future she added, “While we have different leaders representing their own hotels, they are representing brands as well such as Fairmont, Raffles. There is a whole brand presence which is there, which helps in enhancing the brand exposure and visibility for our brand. As more hotels come in, they bring new destinations along with them. In this, they meet and network with new prospective clients which helps them build good business in future as well. All of this helps in creating a positive story”.
