IndiGo to launch non-stop Gaya–Bangkok flights
IndiGo will launch non-stop, bi-weekly flights between Gaya and Bangkok from October 26, 2026, strengthening connectivity between Bihar and Thailand. Operating on Mondays and Thursdays, the service will link Bodh Gaya, a major Buddhist pilgrimage destination, with Bangkok. The new route is expected to support tourism, cultural exchange and regional economic activity, while expanding IndiGo’s India-Thailand network, which currently operates more than 140 weekly flights between the two countries.
The Fern Hotels & Resorts signs new Amritsar property
The Fern Hotels & Resorts has signed The Fern Amritsar, GT Road, Series by Marriott, strengthening its North India portfolio to 58 operational and upcoming properties. Scheduled to open within the next two months, the 64-room hotel will cater to business and leisure travellers. Facilities will include meeting and event spaces, a fitness centre, swimming pool, private dining and rooftop bar, Spirit House.
