Star Air to launch Ahmedabad–Mundra direct flights
Star Air will launch direct flights between Ahmedabad and Mundra in Kutch from August 17, 2026, strengthening regional air connectivity within Gujarat. The new service will connect Ahmedabad, the state’s key commercial and business hub, with Mundra, home to India’s largest private port and a major logistics centre. The route is expected to facilitate smoother business travel, support trade activity and improve access to the rapidly developing Kutch region.
JW Marriott Ranthambore Resort & Spa appoints Vivek Gomes Pereira as GM
Vivek Gomes Pereira has been appointed General Manager of JW Marriott Ranthambore Resort and Spa, Marriott International’s landmark 10,000th property globally. With over two decades of luxury hospitality experience, he previously served as Hotel Manager at JW Marriott New Delhi Aerocity and held leadership roles with The Oberoi Group. Pereira also led the Ranthambore resort through its pre-opening phase and milestone launch.
