LXR Hotels & Resorts debuts in India with The Den Bengaluru

Hilton announced the opening of The Den Bengaluru, LXR Hotels & Resorts, marking the debut of the award-winning luxury brand in India.

LXR Hotels & Resorts debuts in India with The Den BengaluruOwned by Dan Hospitality India and managed by Hilton, The Den Bengaluru brings LXR Hotels & Resorts’ tailored approach to luxury to Whitefield, where heritage meets innovation, creative expression intersects with a global business hub, and vibrant urban energy coexists with a more relaxed rhythm.

The 226-room hotel opens its doors as an LXR Hotels & Resorts and embraces the brand’s DNA with the launch of two signature programmes that bring its philosophy of personal discovery and sense of place to life. The Pause Program translates The Den’s Pause in the Pulse philosophy into thoughtful rituals woven throughout the guest journey, creating moments to slow down, reset and recharge. Whitefield Unscripted, inspired by LXR Hotels & Resorts’ Pursuit of Adventure, takes guests beyond the hotel to discover or rediscover the people, places and stories that give Whitefield its distinctive character.

Zubin Saxena, Senior Vice President and Regional Head, South Asia, Hilton, said, “India is one of Hilton’s most important growth markets, and the emerging expectations of the country’s luxury traveller are creating significant opportunity for brands that offer individual and experience-led stays. Bengaluru is a natural market for this next phase of growth as it is globally connected, culturally dynamic and home to a diverse community of travellers. As we continue to grow our luxury portfolio across the country, The Den Bengaluru, LXR Hotels & Resorts adds a new dimension to the experiences we can offer travellers.”

The hotel’s guestrooms, studios and suites couple intuitive technology with soothing interiors suited to business travel, leisure and extended stays. Dining spans four venues, including Layla, a rooftop restaurant with Indian and Mediterranean influences; The Creek, the hotel’s all-day dining multi-cuisine destination; The Deli, offering specialty coffee and artisanal pastries; and The Cold Press, a dedicated wellness-focused counter offering cold-pressed juices, smoothies and nourishing refreshments.

At the heart of the hotel’s wellness offering is The Sanctuary (spa), where treatments are drawn from contemporary wellness practices and traditional healing philosophies. Guests can maintain their routines at The Studio (fitness centre) or unwind by The Poolside (outdoor pool). Recreational spaces include The Playhouse, which features digital tabletop games and a pool table, and The Cave, an immersive screening experience designed to encourage informal socialising. For meetings, weddings, and celebrations, the hotel offers more than 21,000 square feet of flexible event space across seven venues, ranging from a ballroom and auditorium to meeting rooms and an open-air amphitheatre.

Candice D’Cruz, Vice President, Hilton Luxury Brands, Asia Pacific, said, “LXR Hotels & Resorts brings together a collection of highly individual hotels, each rooted in its destination and shaped by a distinct point of view. The collection is united by a shared belief in personal discovery—inviting travellers to encounter a place through its culture, character and people. The Den Bengaluru marks an important new chapter for LXR, bringing that global perspective to India while giving the collection a compelling new expression of Bengaluru and Whitefield.”

Vinesh Gupta, General Manager, The Den Bengaluru, LXR Hotels & Resorts, said, “We are proud to partner with Hilton and enter a new chapter with The Den Bengaluru as a part of LXR Hotels & Resorts. The hotel has always shared a close connection with Whitefield and joining LXR Hotels & Resorts allows us to build on that foundation through distinctive experiences and highly personalised service, complemented by the strength and reliability of Hilton Honors. With Hilton’s global expertise, the unique spirit of LXR Hotels & Resorts, we look forward to welcoming guests from Bengaluru and around the world in new and meaningful ways.”

Through The Pause Program, restorative touches are woven throughout the stay, from a calming arrival experience and curated in-room amenities including a sleep well kit and pillow menu, to nourishing options at The Creek. Whitefield Unscripted offers immersive ways to experience the neighbourhood, including the Whitefield Verandah Trail, which explores heritage bungalows and longstanding local institutions, and Whitefield’s Farm Story, where guests can harvest produce at a local farm before enjoying a personalised meal created by the hotel’s culinary team.

The hotel is part of Hilton Honors, the award-winning guest loyalty program for Hilton’s 28 distinct hotel brands.  Hilton Honors members who book directly through preferred Hilton channels have access to instant benefits, including flexible Points and money payment options, exclusive member discounts and complimentary standard Wi-Fi. Members also enjoy popular digital tools available exclusively through the Hilton Honors mobile app, including digital check-in, room selection and Digital Key.
