
Air India launches ‘Easy Connect’ from Varanasi
Air India has launched its first ‘Easy Connect’ flight from Varanasi, operationalising the Government’s hub-and-spoke model to link Indian cities with global destinations. The inaugural AI1111 flight departed Varanasi at 09:23 AM, connecting passengers via Delhi to international destinations including Dubai, Colombo, Jeddah, Riyadh, Kathmandu and Phuket. The service will soon expand to 11 cities, including Ahmedabad, Chennai, Mumbai and Hyderabad.

Bintan, Indonesia’s tropical island destination near Singapore, is witnessing rising interest from Indian travellers seeking short-haul, experience-led international holidays. Its easy connectivity via Singapore, pristine beaches, wellness retreats, golf courses, water sports and nature-based experiences are driving demand. The destination is also attracting families, leisure groups and MICE travellers, supported by world-class resorts, event venues and corporate-friendly experiences for meetings, incentives and retreats.
