UP Airport expansion gains momentum
Under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s leadership, Uttar Pradesh is accelerating civil aviation infrastructure to boost regional connectivity. New terminal projects and airport expansions are progressing in Gorakhpur, Agra, Kanpur, Aligarh, Moradabad and Shravasti. Key works include Gorakhpur’s proposed civil terminal, 60% progress at Agra Airport, Kanpur’s ₹150-crore terminal expansion plans, and major land acquisition for Aligarh and Shravasti, aimed at promoting tourism, investment, industry and employment across the state.

SriLankan Airlines strengthens Saudi connectivity

Passengers can now connect via Riyadh and Dammam to SriLankan Airlines’ daily Colombo services, with onward links across its global network, supporting growing demand for business, leisure and VFR travel between the two countries.
