Marriott to launch JW Marriott Resort in Mathura’s Kosi Kalan
Marriott International has signed an agreement with Espire Hospitality Limited to introduce JW Marriott Kosi Kalan Resort & Spa in Mathura, expected to open in January 2029. Spread across 14 acres, the resort will feature 151 rooms, multiple dining venues, spa, and extensive event spaces. Strategically located along the Delhi-Agra corridor, the property is poised to emerge as a key wedding and MICE destination.
Reunion Island strengthens its position in the India market
IndiGo will commence direct flights between Chennai and Réunion Island from April 29, 2026, operating thrice weekly. This new route strengthens Réunion Island’s positioning in the Indian market, offering seamless access to the French overseas destination. Backed by the Reunion Island Tourism Board in collaboration with Atout France, the initiative aims to attract Indian travellers seeking premium, offbeat, and diverse travel experiences.
