VFS Global, KATA join hands to boost South Korea inbound tourism
VFS Global and the Korea Association of Travel Agents (KATA) have agreed to collaborate to promote inbound tourism to South Korea and facilitate smoother international travel. The partnership was discussed during a meeting held at KATA’s Seoul office on 9 January 2026. Both organisations exchanged insights on visa facilitation and committed to leveraging their respective global and regional networks to support Korea’s inbound tourism growth through continued cooperation.
IHG targets 400+ Hotels in India over next five years
IHG Hotels & Resorts plans to scale its India portfolio to over 400 open and in-development hotels within the next five years. Currently operating more than 50 hotels with 80 in the pipeline, IHG has recorded its third consecutive year of record signings in 2025. With eight brands already present, the group will further strengthen its luxury and lifestyle presence with the debut of Vignette Collection in early 2026.
