With over three decades of experience in the aviation industry, Kumar brings with him a rich background in network planning, revenue management, and strategic growth. In his new role, he will spearhead SpiceJet’s next phase of transformation — focusing on business expansion, digital integration, and enhanced operational efficiency.
Kumar will work closely with Ajay Singh, reflecting the company’s confidence in his ability to shape and execute key business strategies. His extensive career includes nearly 12 years at IndiGo as Chief Commercial Officer, followed by a tenure as Chief Strategy & Revenue Officer, and leadership positions such as President & CEO at InterGlobe Technology Quotient and COO at AirAsia India.
Welcoming him to the team, Ajay Singh highlighted that Kumar’s deep understanding of India’s aviation landscape will be pivotal as SpiceJet enters a decisive growth phase. “Sanjay’s strategic insight and leadership will help us strengthen our operations and drive long-term sustainability,” Singh said.
