
Goa Tourism records robust growth in 2025
Goa has reported a 6.23% rise in tourist arrivals from January–September 2025, marking a strong start to the new tourism season. Domestic arrivals grew by 5.36% to 72.96 lakh, while international arrivals surged 29.33% to 3.36 lakh. Tourism contributes nearly 16.43% to Goa’s GDP and generates up to 45% employment. Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte highlighted that this is the first time Goa has seen growth even during monsoon months, reinforcing the success of its year-round tourism strategy.
Marriott to bring JW Marriott to Bengaluru Electronic City
Marriott International has partnered with Aratt One World Pvt Ltd to launch a JW Marriott in Bengaluru’s Electronic City, expected to open in 2030. The 370-key luxury hotel will span four acres and offer signature JW Marriott experiences including serene wellness spaces, premium dining venues, a rooftop bar, and JW Market. The hotel has been designed for business and leisure travellers.
Moustache Group expands luxury footprint with new Jawai Retreat
Moustache Group of Hotels is set to open a luxury property under its Luxuria brand in Jawai, Rajasthan. The launch marks the first of 25 new properties planned by 2027 across destinations including Rishikesh, Nainital, Bir, Dalhousie, Shimla, Gangtok, and Lonavala. With 33+ properties already across 11 states, the brand is tapping into India’s booming luxury tourism segment, projected to grow to USD 123.8 billion by 2030, driven by experiential and sustainable travel demand.
Türkiye marks 102nd Republic Day in New Delhi
The Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye celebrated its 102nd National Day in New Delhi with an elegant reception hosted by Ambassador H.E. Ali Murat Ersoy and Mrs. Fazilet Ersoy. Over 500 dignitaries attended, including 50+ Heads of Missions, business leaders, media, and cultural representatives. The evening featured national anthems, a presidential message, and remarks by the Ambassador.
