Flagged off by prominent figures such as Mr. Amit Sharma (GM, Amanora The Fern), Mr. Abhishek Sahai (GM, Conrad Pune), Mr. Pankaj Saxena (GM, Radisson Blu Kharadi Pune), and Mr. Biswajit Biswas (Executive Director, Ana Hotels & Resorts), the Cyclothon was structured around 3 Impact Stopovers, where riders made pledges to support key social causes:
- Tree Planting, to promote environmental sustainability.
- Road Safety, to encourage responsible travel.
- Plastic Reduction, to combat pollution.
After completing the route, riders were greeted with a grand welcome by a team of over 30 Dhol Tasha players, creating an electrifying atmosphere full of energy and excitement.
Non-riders were treated to a dynamic program, including Yoga, Zumba, and a painting competition for children and adults. Adding to the excitement were dance performances, a thrilling beatboxing session, and various interactive games. The event closed with spectacular lucky draws, where participants had the chance to win exciting prizes.
Mr. Shaberam Rabbani, President of SKAL Pune, credited the success of the event to the support from associate partners TAAI, TAAFI, PHA, & IIHM, and emphasized the importance of such collaborations for driving positive social change. With safety ensured by Manipal Hospitals and insurance by Asego, the event truly represented the power of collective action for the greater good.
