The TBO Academy organised an ‘Awards Night’ at the Sahara Star Hotel in Mumbai on March 28, 2024, to felicitate its top producing agents for Saudi. The awardees were presented with trophies. The event was held in association with the Saudi Tourism Authority.
A destination presentation took the audience through a journey of the Kingdom highlighting the various offerings that Saudi has to offer through its history, culture, heritage and gastronomical experiences. It was an insightful presentation which gave information about the various types of visas, sightseeing spots, itineraries etc that are available in the Kingdom to explore. The event was followed by Iftar and dinner.
Another presentation showcased the various products and services of the TBO Academy including the Air and Non-Air business products. It also showcased the various initiatives taken across the functions for improvement such as the use of technology, an enhanced user interface and experience, implementation of the Zen and Platinum Desk and lots more.
Sharing more details of the event, Aarish Khan, Chief Commercial Officer-India Business, TBO.COM said, “We will have to double the numbers which we achieved in 2023 as that was the vision for TBO. Apart from the event partner and the partnership under TBO Academy, we sell Saudi a lot. We are setting up a DMC as well for Saudi, especially for the travel agents. For people who wish to have leisure travel to Saudi, we are tying up with local partners in Saudi to ensure we give the right products for the travel agents in India.”
