In a recent release sent by TAAI – Travel Agents Association of India – the agents’ community has been allowed to book their passengers on the Vande Bharat Flights.
In addition to Air India, other airlines like UA, EK, LH, AF etc too have commenced bookings due to the opening of the airbubble between India, France, Germany and USA.
The Association has requested members to kindly recheck all conditions on their systems, with local sales teams as well as government quarantine conditions, visa norms, etc before selling the tickets to passenger/customers.
“We appreciate the cooperation shown by Air India, MOCA and Niti Ayog for supporting our initiatives and look forward to more compliances to support the struggling industry. Also, we would once again appeal to our members to avoid giving out credits to the travellers/customers and work on immediate payment basis. During these crucial times it is important that each member does not get into over trading/ over excitement and there by risk their working capital,” shared Jyoti Mayal, President, TAAI.
