UFTAA, headquartered in Monaco, is a global confederation representing the travel and tourism industry. Established in 1966, the organization plays a key role in unifying travel agencies, promoting sustainable tourism, and advocating for industry interests worldwide.
The announcement was made at UFTAA’s Annual General Assembly on March 27, 2025, where the new board was elected. The board now comprises members from eleven countries, with key appointments including:

- Cetin Gurcun (Turkey) – VP Tourism
- William D’Souza (Canada) – VP Finance
- Varsha Ramchurn (Mauritius) – Director
- Dr. Joseph Kithitu (Kenya) – Director
- Duminda Kuruwitaarchchi (Sri Lanka) – Director
- Joe Borg Oliver (Malta) – Director
