On the momentous occasion of marking 75 years independence, the Airline takes pride in unveiling a range of holiday experiences that portray Sri Lanka’s trademark cultural vibrancy, ecological beauty, and the inherent hospitality of its people. The packages, each typically created for 2 persons and can be extended to accommodate up to 8 travellers, are aimed at couples, families, friends, siblings who anticipate travelling overseas together, starting with 3 nights with customized addons. The packages, that come with attractive rates, are inclusive of return airfare to Colombo with airport taxes from respective destinations, 5* and 4* hotel accommodation on bed and breakfast on twin sharing basis featuring Sri Lanka’s best of the hospitality industry and transfers at the destination as per the itinerary shared on srilankan.com.

Currently, the Airline connects nine Indian cities to Colombo with 84 flights a week which include– 19 flights out of Chennai, 12 flights out of New Delhi, 10 flights out of Cochin, 9 flights out of Mumbai, daily flights out of Tiruchirappalli, Madurai, Hyderabad, and Bangalore and six times a week out of Trivandrum.

The two countries share a close bond which dates back to over 2500 years, built upon a legacy of intellectual, cultural, historic connections, immortalized by the epics such as ‘Ramayana.’ Travellers from India always holda special place in the hearts of Sri Lankans for their unquenchable hunger for discovery, which has made India, Sri Lanka’s topmost tourism source market.
