Sands Lifestyle Macao, renowned for their bespoke properties, exquisite accommodation, critically acclaimed dining experiences hosted a luxurious VIP evening in Mumbai themed ‘Yours to Discover’ for select members of the travel trade and media representatives to celebrate their success with the trade partners and to update them about the unique highlights and immersive experiences at their three flagship properties –The Venetian Macao, The Parisian Macao and The Londoner Grand. Gourmet dining, intellectual conversations, vibrant performances, lucky draws and networking made it a memorable evening. Spectacular themed dance performances transported the attendees to the heart of Macau, giving them a glimpse of these world-class properties.
The evening was graciously hosted by the Vice President of Sales for Sands Resorts Macao, Stephanie Tanpure, who spoke about the luxury offerings at the three opulent properties and the latest developments such as The Londoner Grand. Addressing the media she said, “India is a very important market. In 2024 or the first half of this year, we were already witnessing around ten thousand visitor arrivals from the India market per month.
For the upcoming year, we are targeting around 1,20,000 arrivals. Currently for the luxury segments, India ranks among the fifth to seventh position in the top ten. In the MICE segment, it ranks between the fourth and fifth position at present but for December it’s already in our top three markets.
Macau offers affordable high-end luxury which the Indian travellers are used to. The biggest thing with the India market is luxury integration. One of our biggest success stories has been how we are able integrate luxury not only into accommodations but also extend it to luxury shopping, cultural experiences, and entertainment. Be it leisure or MICE, Sands Lifestyle Macao is a one-stop luxury destination. We are also focusing on the Indian wedding segment which is another key pillar of the India market.”
