Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel in Hyderabad Banjara Hills hosted the 2025 edition of “Cycle for a Cause,” bringing together over 120 participants for a community-focused cycling event. Organized under Radisson Hotel Group South Asia’s Community Action Month, the event aimed to raise awareness and support for local development through the Radisson People Foundation.
Over 120 participants—ranging from hotel staff and corporate guests to seasoned cyclists from Hyderabad Randonneurs—gathered before sunrise, setting the tone for a day defined by action and connection. The morning began on a high note with a dynamic Zumba warm-up, pumping energy into the crowd and reinforcing the event’s vibrant, inclusive vibe.
Cyclists hit the road in batches, grouped by their selected distances: 3 km for the Ride for Hope, 6 km for the Ride for Change, and 50 km for the Ride for Impact. Each route represented a deeper commitment to the cause, and as riders pushed forward, they were cheered on at strategic zones outfitted with music, props, and custom photo backdrops—designed to energize and capture the spirit of the moment. The support and enthusiasm along the way reflected the larger message of the event: that community action is everyone’s responsibility.
The event was made stronger through strategic partnerships. From young children pedaling on training wheels to veteran cyclists logging the full 50 kilometers, the diverse group of riders shared one goal—contributing to a cause greater than themselves.
Participants received thoughtfully assembled eco-conscious kits, including wristbands made of recycled paper and custom T-shirts that spoke to the event’s purpose. After the ride, the crowd came together over a well-earned breakfast—swapping stories, taking photos at the #RadissonCares backdrop, and building on the sense of community the ride had sparked.

Every pedal today moves someone closer to a better tomorrow.”
Proceeds from the event go directly to the Radisson People Foundation, helping fund skill development programs in hospitality and emergency aid for Radisson team members and their families. Hyderabad joins over 60 cities across India in this initiative, all united by the powerful belief that together, we rise.
